Fujifilm X-T4: 6 Months In - Is This The Perfect All-Round X-Series Camera?
Hands up, all of you who think that the time for the crop sensor to come to an end?
Not Fujifilm, oh no, no, no. They’re not done and having announced the Fujifilm X-T4 some 6 months ago, it’s safe to say Fujifilm are holding firm in the crop sensor world and we, for one, think its working.
Given the fact the brand sits at No. 4 in the global market, so do many of you, too.
The Fujifilm X-T4 arrived as a real crowd-pleaser; following on from the president that had been set by its earlier siblings, the model came to take the throne and to appeal to photographers, filmmakers and vloggers the world over.
Frankly speaking, this camera is a real triumph and excels in all fields of photography and filmmaking that we've thrown at it. It's a camera that provides the user with as much control as could possibly be required for most applications, the X-T4 truly is the camera for all users. Keeping with Fujifilm's tried, tested and really very popular old school design, the Fujifilm X-T4 continues to be the camera that sways users away from micro-four thirds systems and may have even pushed some users to switch from full-frame cameras.
Fujifilm was an early promoter of the lighter system and actively goaded DSLR shooters with their 'evolution of the photographer' ad campaigning and the X-T4 continues with this trend. Its lightweight body certainly appeals to users who are tired of lugging their heavy systems around or want a camera with high specs without having to shell out for higher-end, full-frame models.
Six months in and with a host of camera launches hogging the limelight; we still love the X-T4 and in many ways, it's all the camera you'll ever need.
Watch our video, in which we pull the camera apart, [not literally] and see how the evolution of the X-T Series from Fujifilm has progressed to this point.
