As China and Hungary toast their 75th anniversary of establishing bilateral relations, China in March extended its visa-free policy to six more European nations, including Hungary. Currently, there are already 13 flights operating between Hungary and China. In this episode of The Hub, Wang Guan speaks with Könnyid László, chief executive officer of the Hungarian Tourism Agency, to highlight the significant importance of Chinese President Xi Jinping's ongoing visit to Hungary and to explore more cooperation opportunities between the two countries. László notes that the Chinese and Hungarians share many commonalities, stating, "Both our peoples are hardworking, having the same mindset on many issues." He also hints that in the near future, Hungary will launch more flights to China, increasing the number of Chinese cities with direct flights to Budapest to seven. The improved convenience of flights will foster greater people-to-people exchanges between the two nations; as László stresses, "Hungarian people are very keen and curious about China."
