Dr. Caterina Mainero is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Director of Multiple Sclerosis Research at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
Dr. Mainero research is focused on bringing novel technical developments in MR imaging to investigate neurological disorders, with a focus on white matter diseases of the central nervous system including multiple sclerosis (MS) and migraine. Hers goal is to combine these methods with clinical and/or biological markers of the disease to investigate how different aspects of MS pathology impact disease activity and evolution. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
