The Kettlewell Resonant Covers designed and built by Russ Camerer have a complex shaping of sound chamber spanning 8 reeds, going from shallow at back by the mouthpiece to large, open arch shape at the back of the harmonica. This acoustically valid cover design duplicates the rich tone created by sound waves overlapping upon themselves, as happens in a trumpet bell.
