‘Still unclear’ if former politician who ‘betrayed’ Australia is Liberal or Labor
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says it is still unclear if the former politician who “betrayed” Australia is “Labor or Liberal”.
Mr Clennell’s comments come after ASIO Director Mike Burgess revealed last week a former politician “betrayed the country in his annual threat assessment”.
“At least six former politicians’ names have come up in Parliament House gossip,” Mr Clennell said.
“It is clear the country the alleged traitor is alleged to have colluded with is China.
“Bizarrely after lighting the spark – Burgess put out a statement the next day saying the person concerned was ‘no longer a security concern’.”
