Holocaust Memorial Day Service of Commemoration 2026

This annual event is a time for reflection on the genocides that have
occurred over the last century and what we can do to build a safer and
more inclusive society. The commemoration includes music, reflections,
presentation by students, poetry and an address by Marta Josephs,
who will be talking about the experiences of her late father Andrew
Frankel, in the holocaust. Andrew Frankel was a Hungarian Jew who
survived both Mauthausen and Gunskirchen concentration camps. In
1956, Andrew Frankel and his young family escaped Hungary during the
Hungarian uprising. We welcome Marta Josephs to our annual service of
commemoration.
