Zack Fair: Another Story

Cissnei arrived in time. She arrived by helicopter just before Zack's final attack. Reno and Rude found Cloud among the rocks. And Zack agreed to go with them, if they do not take away Cloud. When Scarlet's personal helicopter appeared on the horizon, Zack hid Cloud and said him go to Midgar. Scarlet tried to arrest Zack, but he hijack the helicopter and forced Reno to rise quickly in the sky in order to distract Scarlet's and her soldier's attention from Cloud. [When the sound of helicopters became low, Cloud got out of his refuge slowly and went to the Midgar].
Reno suggested that Zack meets with Tseng for medical care. But when Zack landed in Midgar, Scarlet captured him and bring him to President Arthur Shinra. There was the dispute concerning Zack: execute him or leave him alive... And Zack said that he won't work in Shin-Ra. Meanwhile, Cissnei called Reeve for help.
The President announced the death-verdict. Reeve tried to prevent it, but nobody listened to him. Scarlet locked Zack up in a cell, and she put the indicator "death-warrant" in the life-support system of the chamber. But Cate-Sith entered into the cell secretly and changed the indicator of life on "elite prisoner", giving him a chance to survive (water, food and heat were in the cell).
Then Angeal came to Zack's chamber and helped Zack extracting all the bullets in his body. [At the same time, Cloud met terrorist group "Avalanche", headed by Barrett, and committed a terrorist attack to the one of mako-reactors and... failed on Aerith's head]
Zack survived. Avalanche and Aerith are held captive by the Shin-Ra, but soon they escaped, taking advantage of the appearance of Sephiroth's clone. When Sephiroth set out to Shin-Ra, he broke down all the locks on his way. Zack's cell door was opened too. Near the door Zack met Cissnei, who gave him back his sword. Zack did not allow her to go with him, and he didn't have time to join Cloud and his friends.
Angeal suggested Zack go to the Ancient City, where Aerith was going too. And while Cloud's friends were traveling, Zack met with a huge amount of monsters. Soon, Aerith appeared in the Ancient City in order to call on the Holy-material against Meteor (Sephiroth). Zack remained to protect her. When Sephiroth appeared, Zack fought with him. Then Cloud came to the City and Sephiroth started to manipulate him - Cloud attacked Zack. Zack was shocked by Cloud's behavior, because he did not know what was going on with Cloud. Zack tried not to hurt Cloud, but Cloud pierced Zack by his sword. At the same time Sephiroth killed Aerith.
Zack met Angeal again. And he said to him: "Make your choice". Zack had the possibility to return, but Aerith could not. So Zack remained with Aerith. And they decided to help Cloud.

Кто ж знал, что судьба уготовит опять
Мне право решать, где и как умирать.
Кто ж знал, что на чаше жестоких весов
Очутится образ Любимой из снов.
И я не сумел без нее возвратиться
Туда, где отчаянье, боль колосится.
Я жить хотел ради нее лишь одной,
А раз ее нет... что ж, пора нам домой.
