S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is full of interesting concepts and story lines, but one of the most fascinating is tied to the idea of the Noosphere. Originally envisioned by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and Vladimir Vernadsky, this idea is reshaped within the story of the Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat.

From a socio-ecological abstraction we come to something concrete - an informational field surrounding Earth, connected to the thoughts of all living creatures. As such, it presents a phenomenon of interest for the C-Consciousness.
