An R returns to Sale! ! (707 Operations' Steam Over Skyrail to Sale) | With R707, H5 & T413

On June 23rd 2018, 707 Operations ran a groundbreaking tour for Victorian steam traction. The trip was to operate from Newport to Sale over the very recently completed 'Skyrail' project on parts of the Pakenham line. Because of this, R707 "City of Melbourne" became the first steam locomotive to traverse the newly opened project by the level crossing removal authority (LXRA).
