Israel targets Lebanese rescue workers with a ‘double-tap’ air strike

Two Lebanese rescue workers were injured in an Israeli strike on the town of Toul in southern Lebanon.

The rescue workers were responding to an earlier strike on the same location before Israel launched another strike, in what is known as a “double-tap” strike — a tactic often used to target those who rush to the scene to provide assistance.
