Restoration Antique Meat Cleaver

Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. I found this antique meal cleaver at the flea market. I love this cleaver knifes, already I have a small collection of figural cleavers.
Restoration process:
I removed the old plastic handle and via rust remover liquid removed dirty and rust. Then I used the couple of iron brushes (hard and soft) and leave it. You can ask me why? Because this cleaver have an awesome old surface, and it would not be right to start polishing it.
I had a good piece of ash tree, very dry. I used it for my handle. Furthermore, I choose 6 mm stainless-steel rivets. Finally I used my homemade wax for wood finish. As usual, I made a cleaver test for you. I hope, you will enjoy this restoration video. Thank you for attention!
