Ohio Congressman Avoids town Hall Meeting

On Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, Congressman Patrick Tiberi, who is supposed to represent the 12th Congressional District of Ohio, failed to attend a Town Hall meeting at a Columbus, OH, Unitarian-Universalist Church because he was afraid that “people would yell” at him. As Chair of the Subcommittee on Health of the powerful Ways and Means Committee, Tiberi is an active enemy of citizens’ rights to affordable health care and, by refusing to subpoena trump’s tax returns, is partaking in the Party-wide cover-up that is impeding inquiry into Donald Trump’s ties to Russia and his obvious violation of the Emoluments Clause of the US Constitution.

Tiberi was represented by a life-sized, cardboard cutout at the jam-packed meeting, where his constituents told how their lives had been saved by the Affordable Care Act and how they would be receiving a death sentence if the health insurance program were to be destroyed as Trump has vowed.

Please FAX, phone, or tweet to Rep. Tiberi (@PatTiberi) to ask him to restore or improve Obamacare and to ask him to promote—not obstruct—the inquiries into Donald Trump’s conflicts of interest and his ties to Russia.
