The Most FORGOTTEN Dragon Ball Z Fighting Game #dbz #retrogaming

The most overlooked Dragon Ball fighting game, is also one of the oddest.
Hitting arcades in 1994, Dragon Ball VR VS is a fighting game that uses an over-the-shoulder view to give a 3D, VR-like effect, similar to Nintendo's Punch Out.

What makes this game especially odd, is that it introduced a new character in the form of Majin Ozotto: a demon who can mimic other fighters.
What I like most about VR VS is the endings. As, when you complete the game you get a short sequence where you character summons Shenron and makes a wish. While some of these are basic (like Goku wishing for a load of food) some are deeply hilarious.

For instance, Piccolo wishes to fight the strongest in the world, leading to Shenron giving him a match against Mr Satan, and Vegeta asks for the world at this feet, leading to Shenron making him into a giant.
