Beneath the Altar is a wonderful solo TTRPG that casts you as a priest who is forced to pose as a small-town priest. However, as you hear the townsfolk’s confessions, you slowly start to realize that this town may not be all it first seems.

So, as you play the TTRPG, you’ll have to decide if you want to help the townsfolk, or if the nature of the mystery means their souls are forfeit and it is okay for you to drink their blood and satisfy your new vampiric urges. While the TTRPG’s mechanics are simple, the game’s text is wonderfully written, meaning that you’re sure to get sucked into the game’s spaghetti horror western atmosphere.
