Albanese’s decision to choose Sam Mostyn as Governor-General ‘clearly a political one’
Sky News host Caleb Bond says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s decision to choose Sam Mostyn as the next Governor-General is “clearly a political one”.
The former Labor staffer was announced last week as David Hurley’s replacement.
“Albanese’s pick for Governor-General this week certainly raised some eyebrows.
“Sam Mostyn as we know amongst other things, she was once upon a time an AFL commissioner, she’s had experience in business.
“But she’s also a gender activist, a climate activist, she’s a former Labor staffer, she campaigned for the Yes vote for the Voice to Parliament.”
