🌌 What Happens to a Human in the Vacuum of Space? 😱🚀

In the 1960s, NASA conducted experiments in vacuum chambers to determine how much time astronauts had to react to depressurization. In one incident, a technician lost suit pressure and fainted after 14 seconds. Another spent four minutes in low pressure, turned blue, but survived after a kick to the glass. In 1971, three Soviet cosmonauts on Soyuz-11 perished from depressurization at 168 km, losing atmosphere in 30 seconds. Experiments showed that in vacuum, the body does not explode, but fluids evaporate, causing swelling. Consciousness fades in 10-15 seconds due to oxygen deprivation. Skin withstands pressure, but lungs may rupture. Freezing takes hours, but without air, death comes quickly. These cases highlighted the need for suits and quick response in space.
