Media’s ‘despicable coverage’ of illegal alien shooting exposed by Karoline Leavitt

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has unleashed on a major broadcaster’s lack of coverage over the death of a young woman allegedly shot by an illegal immigrant.

Leavitt, during her press briefing, accused the media on Monday of giving minimal coverage to the death of a student.

During the conference, Leavitt unleashed on CBS, ABC News and NBC, complaining that CBS had devoted little time to the coverage of Sheridan Gorman.

Gorman, an 18-year-old college student, was allegedly murdered by an illegal immigrant in Chicago earlier in March.

“Just last week, Sheridan Gorman, a young woman in Chicago, was shot and killed on the street walking with her friends outside of her university by an illegal alien from Venezuela, who had no right to be here in the first place,” Leavitt said.

“It’s despicable that Democrats are currently defunding the department that’s responsible for removing illegal aliens like that.”
