Healthcare is a right | Temie Giwa-Tubosun | TEDxEustonSalon

A young woman in Kano in labor for three days, Nelson Mandela's autobiography and Temie's labor (and easy access to healthcare) were the three key events that pushed Temie Giwa Tubonsun to find her purpose. In her thought-provoking talk, she boldly says: "Every single African deserves access to the best, most efficient, most effective healthcare that we can deliver, and that's my life's work.

Temie Giwa-Tubosun was named in 2014 by the BBC as one of the 100 Women changing the world. Temie is an alumni of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, and founder/CEO of LifeBank - a social enterprise using technology and smart logistics to match blood to patients. Temie’s vision is to save lives across Africa by building smart health systems.
