Post-it Note Dominance | Salomé Rameau | TEDxYouth@ISMonaco

Salomé Rameau discusses how something so small dominated our stationary, amongst other things, so quickly, all due to a mistake. Hello! My name is Salomé, I’m 15 years old and am in year 10 at ISM. I was born in France to a Belgian mother and a French father but moved to England at 6 months old hence making it an important part of me. My passions include music as I strive to express myself through the melodious sounds of my trumpet and piano, art as there are no rules and no limits to what can be achieved, and of course, public speaking as nothing surpasses the thrill of defeating your nerves as you stand on a stage, listened to and heard. When I found out ISM would be hosting a TEDx event, I refused to let the opportunity go past me and having watched countless TED talks before, it was like a dream coming true before my eyes. Initially, when the theme was announced, I had no idea what I would talk about, but as I began researching potential speech topics I was left bewildered at the amount of unintentional events that have shaped the world into what it is now. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
