Tories Threaten Rebellion Against Sunak Over Council Budgets

44 Tory MPs are reported to be threatening Sunak with Rebellion if he doesn't do something to avert the crisis in local government funding. Right wing shills have been attempting to paint the problem as being with Labour councils, but it affects more Conservative councils. The real reason is not local councillors of either party, however, and more to do with savage cuts to local government grants since 2010 and rising demand for services.
