Live from Mako's Studio: Culture Care for Artists of Christian Faith
Mako "spoke" at a gathering of artists of Christian faith the other day, and here's what he spoke on Culture Care for all people. He speaks of cultural stewardship that is to tend, till and nurture our cultural soils, rather than fighting over them; rather than assuming a scarcity mindset, we can, as Christians, assume an "Abundant Life" (John 10). WWW.IAMCultureCare.com has resources toward being Culture Care catalysts. "Culture Care" (IVPress) and Art&Faith: A Theology of Making (Yale Press, preorder to be released January, 2021) are also great resources. @academykintsugi (Instagram and Twitter) is also a great way to enter into a journey toward Culture Care.
