The World's Tallest Green Building

It’s Andy here. Taipei 101 is the tallest skyscraper in Taiwan, the world’s tallest green building, and the 10th tallest building in the world. I was lucky to enjoy the annual Taipei 101 New Year’s Eve fireworks show for 2021.

Today we’re going to climb up to Skyline 460, which is an outdoor area at the top of Taipei 101, where you can see 360 degree views of Taipei. We’re also going up to the actual floor 101, previously closed to the public and now open. First, we’re going to eat at Ding Tai Fung, the world-famous dumpling restaurant that started in Taiwan, also located inside Taipei 101.

Also Taipei 101 is where the famous Taipei 101 mass damper is, offering protection during earthquakes, typhoons, and heavy winds.
