Highlight Reel - UCBC Bishop Roborecki Branch, Saskatoon 90th Anniversary

On May 6, 2023, the Ukrainian Catholic Brotherhood of Canada, Bishop Roborecki Branch in Saskatoon, celebrated it's 90th Anniversary. The occasion was marked with a Divine Liturgy of Thanksgiving with Panakhyda for deceased brothers, offered by Rt. Rev. Mitrat Father Vladimir Mudri, past Spiritual Advisor of the Branch, followed by the solemn blessing of the Anniversary Icon commissioned by iconographer Ana Mycyk. Afterwards there followed a social at St. George Senior Citizens' Centre, with open exhibits at the Musée Ukraina Museum and veneration of the relics at the Shrine to the Nun-Martyrs Olympia & Lavrentia. That evening a banquet was held with entertainment by talented young people of the community showcasing music, poetry and stilts theatre. Clergy, religious and out of town guests joined the Branch in celebrating the gift of 90 years as an active force for good in the Ukrainian Catholic Community of Saskatoon.
