10 World’s Smallest People You Wont Believe Exist!

How small do you think a human being can be?
If you've seen dwarves, you probably think that they are the smallest adults ever. Well, that would be
wrong. There are human beings way smaller and shorter than regular dwarves, and you would be
absolutely amazed to see how these small people live their lives.
And that's why we're bringing them to you right now. We'll be telling the incredible stories of the ten
smallest people to have ever existed. Get ready for a ride of miniature but gargantuan wonder!
#10 Bridgette Jordan
Bridgette Jordan actually used to be the shortest human being in the world, and she used to own a
Guinness World record certificate to that effect. However, these days, that particular record has another
holder.
The peculiar thing about Bridgette is that she isn't the only extremely small person in her family. Her
younger brother, Brad, was just 38 inches taller than her— and he was twenty.
Wait. How small was Bridgette then? Well, take a wild guess. 5ft? 4.5ft? 4ft? 3.5ft?
Those are pretty extreme guesses, but even those would be wrong. Bridgette just measures about 2ft 3
inches. Bridgette was so ridiculously small at birth that she weighed only one pound, 12 ounces and was
only about 12.5 inches long. Imagine that!
Like most extremely small people, she suffered from a rare condition called Microcephalic osteoplastic
primordial dwarfism type II. It's a type of dwarfism that is associated with brain and skeletal
malformations. It's one illness that tends to make people extremely small— even smaller than regular
dwarves.
Despite the fact that she battled with this condition all her life, Bridgette made sure to enjoy herself to
the fullest. She was a dancer and she did some cheerleading while in college. Imagine the mental
strength to do that!
Bridgette may have been small, but her mind certainly was not.
#9 Khagendra Thapa Magar
Once known as the shortest man in the world, Khagendra Thapa Nagar was a Nepali that was just a little
bit taller than 2ft. Magar, as we'll call him from now henceforth, was a primordial dwarf. This is a kind of
dwarfism that reflects in smaller body size in all stages of life from before birth.

Yes, that's right. Magar was always extremely small— even as a fetus. At birth, he weighed about 600
grams, and by the time he became the shortest man in the world he weighed only about 14 pounds.
That's around the weight of a gallon of paint!
He became the shortest man in the world in October 2010, on his birthday. Imagine being declared as
the shortest person in the world on your birthday!
Before that, Magar had gotten some exposure to fame. He had appeared on a documentary by the
British Channel 4 called The World's Strongest Man And Me and hosted by Mark Dolan.
Unfortunately, Magar died in January of 2020 due to complications of pneumonia. At the time of death,
he was twenty-six years old.
#8 István Tóth
István Tóth is one of the few people on this list without a Guinness World record. This is because we
don't really know too much about this man.
However, we do know a few things. We know that Tóth once claimed that he reached a maximum
height of 65 centimeters— and that would, at the time of this claim, make him the shortest man in the
world.
But while we aren't quite sure of István's height, we know that he used to perform in a circus. At this
time, his official height was about 70cm.
As a performer, István lived a remarkable life. He went by the stage name Pityu and was able to wow
crowds with gymnastic and comic feats. He even, at some point in his career, threw daggers at willing
participants.
Outside the circus though, István led a normal life. His wife was a sword swallower and she's normal-
sized. He even had a daughter with her and they raised the kid in Hungary. Interestingly, István was able
to buy an Audi car from the money he earned as a performer. He converted the car himself and rode it
until he unfortunately died in 2011.
The life of István shows us that even with genetic disorders, people can still live great and fulfilled lives.
#7 Madge Bester
Unlike István, Madge was actually 65 centimeters tall. And unlike István, she once held the record for
being the world's shortest woman.
Madge was born in South Africa and measured only about 65 centimeters. That's just two feet and 1.5
inches. Unlike other people on this list that were primordial dwarves, Madge had something else called
osteogenesis imperfecta.

This is a kind of genetic disease that is characterized by extremely short height, brittle bones, loose
joints, hearing loss and even breathing problems.
