This is a great looking affordable timepiece with some heavy design cues in a lightweight package.

After the success of its first watch, the LMM-01, the Paris retailer Merci has launched a proper line of timepieces, Merci Instruments, and its first collection, Projet Spécial. One of our favorites from this new line is the aptly named Railroad, which adds a bit of funk to the design of the Projet Spécial collection without straying too far from what has made Merci watch designs so appealing from the start.
The blue Arabic numerals bring a healthy dose of color to the dial, and the trapezoid-shaped hands, which are filled with beige Super-LumiNova, make for a bold, legible, and clearly vintage leaning vibe. The namesake "railroad" minute track around the dial and the bi-color silvered-and-white dial lend the Railroad its distinctive look.
