Chaves Ultramar Liberation 229 Titanium (Seigaiha Motif) — Knife Unboxing — Perfect Halloween Blade
Liberation leading the way. Few things in the knife world are as iconic as a Chaves blade, with its aggressive lines and ‘take no prisoners’ attitude to performance. It's with that ethos in mind that the Ultramar Liberation 229 was created in collaboration with Reate to bring a street-ready version of the handmade Liberation to a wider audience.
Sharing the same fiery bloodline as the custom version, the Ultramar Liberation 229 is a slimmer version of the Redencion and impresses with its impeccable fit, finish, feel, and function.
The fierce 3.66” Bohler M390 blade is satin-finished for enhanced wear resistance, while the frame lock is unfailingly solid and comes with a lock bar insert for the longevity of use. The iconic Chaves skull titanium pocket clip and custom anodized hardware complete this one-of-a-kind and badass package.
Since this is a classic Ramon design, his signature is emblazoned on the blade. It also features Ramon's preference for a notorious and intentionally strong detent, which translates to maximum security and strength.
In addition, the crowning cherry on top is the exclusive Seigaiha engraving on the titanium handles, which add a subtle texture for improved grip and handling. The traditional Japanese wave motif signifies an unending wave of fortune and fortitude, which is exactly what the Liberation 229 is all about.
If you’re looking for the ballsy performance of a Chaves Liberation without the equally ballsy price-tag and long wait, this exclusive Chaves Ultramar Liberation 229 will blow you away with its formidable form and function.
