Teen With Cerebral Palsy Receives Van From Justin Timberlake
The lives of a teen with special needs and his dad are going to be a lot easier, thanks to Justin Timberlake. Jake Stitt greets the people who drive past his home in Morristown, Tennessee with a sign that says, “Honk if you’re happy.” The 17-year old was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of 2 and uses a wheelchair to get around. Jake’s dad, Tim, a disabled veteran, is his sole caregiver. Singer Justin Timberlake learned about community efforts to raise money for a wheelchair accessible van for Jake, and decided to cover all of the costs. On a video call, Timberlake told Jake and Tim, “You inspire me.” #InsideEdition
