After sitting down with Dan Sangermani from Invidia Wines and Master of Wine Ned Goodwin on the podcast, we couldn’t wait to experience one of Switzerland’s signature grape varieties for ourselves.

This Chasselas from Domaine de Sarraux Dessous is beautifully expressive, opening with aromas of creamed honey, ripe orchard fruit and delicate white flowers. On the palate, it’s rounded, textural, smooth and creamy.

If you’re looking for the perfect food pairing, it doesn’t get much more authentic than a classic Swiss cheese fondue. The wine’s freshness and texture beautifully complement the rich, melted cheese.

Swiss wine is rarely seen outside of Switzerland, making bottles like this a real treat to discover.
