Soffit Vent detail

In this video I show you the details of how I built my soffit. This is usually a common location that does not get air sealed. I came up with this process that allows for the air barrior to go unbroken under the venting. This allows for a traditional soffit and facia look, but without the problems. The siding is vented using a technique called "rain screen" and my roof is vented. However, the air barrior is 100% intact.
