This 6' electric heater is all that will be needed for my whole house. Have you ever priced out the cost of installing a conventional heating system? pipes, pumps, vavles, guages, boiler, tanks, and all that skilled labor. Whew! How expensive. Now, yes, electric heat is expensive per BTU, however, this heater is not my primary source. Solar is my primary source and this is only a backup. In this situation it makes sense.
