Homemade Hand Sanitiser - No bullshit formula!

Made my own hand sanitiser. Never knew how they were made but dove into some research and learnt a few new things. There is so many variety of hand sanitiser, and I also realised that not all hand sanitiser being sold are effective! some give you the feel good factor cos of the fragrance as well as the Vit E aspect that smoothens your skin (which is not the primary goal of sanitising your hands). Just think about the hand sanitizer at the foot of hospital beds. Hospitals give you the no-bullshit formul that does one thing well - kill germs and viruses.

The formula I used is:
1. Isopropyl alcohol (70%)
2. Distilled water
3. Tea tree essential oil

The distilled water helps to dilute the alcohol a little so that it does not evaporate too fast from your hands, before you even get to rub it around.

Tea tree oil has anti-bacterial properties and gives a nice light fragrance.

Try it out yourself! The spray bottle from Watson's is perfect because it comes with its own mini funnel!
