2020 07 30 SN5 Static Fire 2nd Edition w Starhopper - SpaceX Starship Boca Chica

Hello Friends and Nerdles!
I wanted to share with you the excitement I experienced last year... three weeks shy of one year to be more accurate... the lift-off of Starhopper. I watched this amazing machine being built in my back yard. Then watched it 'drive' right past my driveway brushing my yucca plant, heading east to the launchpad. When Starhopper climbed into the air, I felt like a friend had just taken wing and fulfilled their destiny. It's silly I know to project such feelings on a shiny 'flying water tank' but I felt more emotion than I ever expected to feel. Just listen to the audio track... Turn up the volume and enjoy the roar of the sixth Raptor engine ever to be built and share in that excitement like the small herd of Nerdles who started the reporting and live streaming grass-roots revolution right here in Boca Chica. Then... watch the static fire in preparation for - hopefully - today's long-anticipated SN5 launch and landing.
