September 11th, 2001 was a horrific day as we sat riveted to our TVs watching the Twin Towers crumble to the ground with 2,977 people in them. The day was especially traumatic for Jamie’s guest Shelly, whose husband was on the 104th floor of the North Tower that day. She shares with Jamie their love story, some unexpected difficulties moving to New York, how they grew in love through every season, and about their little girl who was only 16 months when Steve Genovese kissed her goodbye the morning of 9/11. Shelly shares about the call Steve made after the tower was hit and her process of grief when he never came home.
