What’s the GF Fanabe Hotel really like?

Sandra travelled from Dublin to Birmingham airport where I met her and continued to South Tenerife airport.

Terry had a few problems with converting from a manual to an Automatic car which is apparent with a few of the Bleeps in this vlog ;)

The GF Fañabé hotel has air conditioned rooms with views of the pools or streets, if you want the evening sun then best to the right side as you enter the pool as the left side is quickly consumed with shade. The balconies are quite small and you get an overwhelming feeling of concrete surrounding you.

One of the plus points for this hotel is the location, you can’t beat it, you’re close to the shops, Playa de Durque, Fanabe Market and the beach promenade with all the restaurants and bars next to the sea

The GF Fanabe hotel has plenty of entertainment including bars, children’s entertainment, surprisingly good quality entertainment for adults alike, that’s something I have a little knowledge about running an entertainment agency. The swimming pools are for all ages, areas to relax and chill, including the rooftop area albeit looking a tad tired.
Food at GF Fañabé was plentiful and of good quality, plenty of fresh meat and fish if you have the patience to wait whilst being cooked. One minus point was the hordes of people and queues for food.

GF Fañabé Hotel is located in Costa Adeje in the south of Tenerife, we clocked up to 18,000 steps a day walking up and down the promenade.

With the Fanabe Market being right next door beware of the days NOT to park in the car park, Wednesdays & Fridays as the Markets are on Thursdays and Saturdays. We learnt the hard way and parked the car alongside many others on a Wednesday night only to find the next day it was impounded, this was an expensive mistake and cost us €30 to get to the airport and a further €148 fees for the car being impounded.
All in all, this hotel was reasonably priced at €587 for 6 days which included half board and booking direct with the hotel through one of their special offers.
