Gobustan, Azerbaijan - Petroglyphs

Seva Ahmadova takes us to Gobustan National Park on the outskirts of Baku to see petroglyphs, or rock images, dating back several millennia. These carvings were initially discovered by a shepherd in the beginning of the 20th century, and further excavation has revealed thousands more images, giving us a glimpse of how humans lived in prehistoric times.
