Sharks and seals: How biologists take care of the marine wildlife on the US East Coast

Erin Levesque works as a marine biologist at the Marine Resources Research Institute in Charleston. Her job is to monitor the fish population and to ensure it stays healthy. With her crew, she catches sharks, to measure and tag them. With the gathered blood samples, she can later make health checks in their labratory. There, she can also determine the age and specific species of the fish.
