The Sketchiest Airplane I Have Ever Flown (Super Bear Ferry Adventure)

Early on in my Ferry Pilot career, I took on a unique opportunity to save an airplane from rotting away on the ramp. The Super Bear was in desperate need of a makeover when it was ground looped at my home airport by two "ferry pilots" attempting to deliver it to its new owner.

The damage from the ground loop and initial poor condition of the Super Bear precluded any normal aircraft mechanic from touching it, so seeing opportunity, I called the owner and agreed to get the Super Bear repaired, test flown, and delivered to him.

The fact that the Super Bear had just been repaired from a ground loop, the overall condition of the rest of the aircraft was not great, and I had never flown one before, all added up to be what I consider to be the sketchiest aircraft I have ever flown.
