Road to Captain: The Mid-Air Reboot Gamble | Neofly | MSFS 2024

My flight directors failed mid-flight on a sensitive cargo run — so I made a call I probably shouldn't have. I shut every avionics system down at 24,000 feet and prayed it all came back.

This leg was supposed to be a simple fragile-cargo hop from Tri-Cities down to Salinas Municipal in California — a few thousand XP closer to the captain promotion. Then the panel threw a "NO TAKEOFF" flag and told me the flight directors had failed. Rather than hand-fly the whole thing, I gambled on a full mid-air avionics reset. It mostly worked... then I had a whole new set of problems coming into a fading-light approach with no flap or gear status on the display.
