Cebu Lechon Belly Oven Recipe | Roasted Pork Belly Roll

Making your own Lechon Belly (roasted pork belly roll) is fulfilling. The outcome of this recipe is similar to the flavor of Lechon Cebu. The inside is tender and moist, while the skin is as crispy as it can be. This lechon is cooked using a conventional oven with rotisserie.

Take note of the following temperature adjustments in order to achieve a crispy skin and tender/moist meat:

1st hr: 350 °F (or 175 °C)
2nd hr: 360 °F (or 180 °C)
3rd hr: 370 °F (or 190 °C)
4th hr: 400 °F (or 200 °C)

Ingredients:
2 kg Pork Belly (whole slab boneless)
1 bunch Lemongrass (pounded)
1 bunch Scallions

Rub & marinate ingredients:
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1/2 cup Cooking Oil
1 tbsp Salt
1 & 1/2 tbsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Ground Black Pepper

Steaming ingredients:
7 pcs Star Anise
1 pc Red Onion (wedged)
1 pint Water
