The plaintiff says he bought a 2008 BMW from the defendant with 98,000 miles on it, but when the DMV ran the VIN number, it came up with 236,000 miles. He claims he was ripped off and wants his money back. The defendant says he sold the car as TMU — true mileage unknown. He’s countersuing for the balance due.
