New 4 Season Tent | Winter Backpacking & Wild Camping.

My new four season tent is the very popular and robust MSR Access 2. Fairly lightweight, strong and with excellent internal space, what's not to like?

This is my review having owned a couple of these tents over the last few years along with the MSR Access 1. I have used the Access range of tents throughout the years, from stormy mountain summit wild camping trips to several multi-week long distance hikes across Scotland.

They have performed really well in some atrocious Scottish conditions and so far they have never let me down. However this time I decided to get one again purely for winter camping and it wasn’t based on my past experience with them, or their performance. But just the bright, or should I say retina splitting bright, orange colour 😊
