Wild Camping During a Mountain Storm.

Out wild camping during a mountain storm with my MSR Access 1 Tent.

The weather forecast was for some light to moderate gusts of wind; however it started to pick up in strength rather than reduce.

This change in the forecast put both my Access 1 tent and my friends Scarp 1 through a fairly severe testing for a good few hours. We estimate that the gusts on the mountain must have been at least 50 mph.

Both tents put up a very impressive performance without any damage and luckily for us the wind speed dropped later in the night as forecast. This allowed us to do some mountain and landscape photography before retiring to bed for the evening.

To finish of the trip we headed up to the mountains summit before dawn for some breath-taking views and a spectacular sunrise.
