Create a Google Earth flythrough from a Strava activity track

A brief description of how to create a birds eye "fly-through" from a Strava activity track downloaded as a .gpx file and opened in Google Earth.

I am using Google Earth Pro because it is free now, but the standard version can do the same.

In fact you can use any gpx track recorded with a GPS (plane, boat, car, walking or whatever). Since the gpx files are tiny, they are a fast, easy way to share your track with anyone. They can re-create your "movie" using Google Earth and whatever speed + camera settings they like.
