During my time in Lower Manhattan/Financial District, I had the pleasure of staying at the Doubletree by Hilton. This hotel is a train ride away from everything and has many shops, boutiques and restaurants close by.

MY REVIEW: Nice and renovated hotel with new hardwood floors in the rooms, but the workers at the front desk were not very welcoming. This hotel also has 40 floors with only 3 slow elevators. On the day of checkout me and countless other people waited over 15 minutes for an elevator and everyone had to use the staircase to exit the building on the first floor. I was only on the 5th floor so it wasn’t as bad as others on higher floors.
