Hampton Inn & Suites Rockville Centre *Review*

MY REVIEW: This was my first time at this hotel near Queens, NY. They had great customer service and great hospitality. There is a train station less than 6 min walking distance and bus routes less than 3 min away. There are multiple mom and pop food restaurants/bars within minutes of the hotel that you can walk to or order from. This hotel has free parking which is rare to find at NY hotels. The hotel was clean and the room was unexpectedly very spacious. I booked the suit that included a sofa bed, two TVs and a vanity sink, stand up shower, and a marble countertop mini bar section. This room also came with a sink, microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. Breakfast was complimentary and there were a couple of options even with Covid still present.

MY 2nd REVIEW:
I liked the convenience of the hotel so much I stayed a 2nd time, and this hotel surprisingly disappointed me. On my 2nd stay, they gave me the key to someone else’s room and I walked in on a stranger! The representative at the front desk did not really even apologize or do anything for the inconvenience. They explained that they had a room mix up and gave my room to someone who checked in before me. I would’ve asked to speak to a manager but it was not worth it. That alone was enough reason for me to not want to stay here again. Other than that my new room was still clean and presentable.
