Letting A Lady Down

The plaintiff says she brought her car to the defendant, a mechanic, for an air-conditioning repair. She claims when she got the car back, there was a long dent on the side and a mirror was broken. The defendant said he’d fix it but never did, so she’s suing. The defendant says he thinks it got sideswiped and he offered to fix it, but the plaintiff didn’t want to leave the car with him.
