Prokofiev composed the Opera War and Peace during the most intense moments of WWII as a monument to Soviet Russian Patriotism. Nevertheless, it didn't save the composer of being attacked during the Zhdanov trials in 1948.

Prokofiev compuso la ópera La Guerra y la Paz durante los momentos más angustiantes de la 2GM como un monumento al patriotismo soviético. Sin embargo, esto no lo salvó de ser atacado durante los juicios de Zhdanov en 1948.
