Male’s Body Found In Mission Bay

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 5-3-24 7:05 am
LOCATION: E. Mission Bay Blvd
AREA/CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:

A man was walking his dogs and discovered a male’s body floating face down in the water.
Police and Lifeguards were called.
The male is dead and an investigation is beginning.
The County Medical Examiner arrived and found a small injury to the back of the victim’s head.
It’s believed that the male fell in, hit his head on a rock, and drowned.
The victim had a history with the Police dealing with alcohol issues.
