Freeway Road Rage Shooting Investigation

LOCATION: 6000 Acacia Avenue
AREA/CITY: Whittier
DETAILS:

A man was shot in a possible road rage shooting incident stemming from the 605 Freeway Sunday night
Whittier Police were called to a residence in the area in regards to a reported shooting victim
Arriving, they located a male adult laying down on a porch suffering from a gun shot wound
LA County FD Paramedics arrived and transported the victim to USC Medical (LA General) in unknown condition
It appears at least one bullet went through the car and struck the driver
It is reported the shooting occurred at an unspecified off ramp from the 605 Freeway. The victim then drove to his residence before calling for help. CHP officers arrived to take over the investigation.
Currently there is no known suspect information
