Lilac Wine - Jeff Buckley (Alexa Melo Cover)

This song has been requested on this channel for years by multiple subscribers and I've wanted to cover it for a while now but have always been a bit intimidated to sing it. The composition of the song itself was written by James Shelton in 1950 and have been sung by various iconic artists like Nina Simone and Jeff Beck... BUT upon hearing Jeff Buckleys rendition many many years ago, my appreciation and connection to the song bloomed. Jeff Buckley is, in my opinion, is one of the greatest vocalists in our lifetime. So after singing this song alone to myself for 2 years... I finally decided to not beat myself up for not sounding anywhere close to Jeff Buckley's excellence and allow my rendition be what it is; whatever it may be. I enjoyed making it, so if some of you enjoyed hearing it, then i'm happy.
